The British monarch Queen Elizabeth II is the "world's longest-reigning living monarch" at 95 years of age. Queen Elizabeth II emerged from the Covid lockdown in her first public appearance back in October.

Bryan Kozlowski explores elements of the Queen’s daily lifestyle and shares them in his new book “Long Live the Queen! 23 Rules for Living From Britain’s Longest-Reigning Monarch”. The first habit is to keep up the exercise that gives you pleasure. For the Queen they are horseback riding and long walks with corgis.

Second, Elizabeth II prefers simple meals, occasional treats and a drink once a day. The Queen also keeps her Beauty regimen, avoiding harsh sun rays exposure and excessive makeup.

The fourth rule is to keep the brain active, needless to say that Elizabeth II has a lot of paperwork, she also reads newspapers every morning and stays abreast of all political and social developments.

Last but not least is mental health, Queen’s glass-half-full attitude gives her mental strength which might lead to her living longer than her mother who died at 101. Kozlowski states that she practices so-called ‘benefit-finding’ which together with her willingness to adapt contributes to a fulfilling existence and longevity.
